Photoshop is the first drawing, painting, and illustration tool designed to simultaneously edit and composite multiple images. The Photoshop Creative Cloud (earlier known as Flexible) membership program lets you upload, download, and sync files between computers using a Windows or Mac computer. For each computer you sign up with, you’ll get 1GB of cloud storage and the ability to use the software online (on any computer). When you upload files to your online storage, they’re available whether you’re on a computer in your house or at work. If Adobe is providing capacity, you will always have online access to this software.
To help you with sharpening and lightening an image you can use the Sharpen tool, which uses blurring techniques to make the image appear sharper. You also get additional, fine-tuning controls once you select the Sharpen tool. You’ll find this option in the Adjust menu. This tool has the ability to make your image appear sharper. More advanced sharpening techniques can be found in Photoshop Elements.
What It Does: This tool selects the area within your image that you want to enhance. It’s similar to the Paint Bucket tool (c‘ll the Paint Bucket Tool button for reference). If the area you want to enhance has like colors, the Enhance tool can help remove those coloring and enhance your image. You can also apply patterns for easy coloring.

Photoshop CC users now have built-in support for Apple’s standard Display Timeout to help against screen savers, screen blanking, and suspended applications. With Timeout, defined as the length of time an inactive app can remain on a display, Photoshop CC will halt image-editing and locking when displays are inactive for 30 seconds or more. You can now check the display timeout setting on the Image > Mode > Edit > Preferences > Display page.
Adobes’ on-premise software, Photoshop Mix, was announced today. For organizations with on-premise software needs, this release includes Layer-based canvas for mixing, remixing, and sequencing high-resolution images as large as 5.34 gigapixels or video as large as 350 gigabits.

While some features were included in Photoshop designed to be more efficient, most of the changes were design decisions, feature enhancements, or are simply the result of the internal processes that have been underway for years. Some of the changes might seem trivial to you, but they are a key part of the photoshop experience. The most obvious are the feature we all use the most: the ability to undo last commands. You are probably wondering how that happened. The undo using a history mechanism was in Photoshop, on paper, 10 years ago. Undoing in the early Photoshop versions was a nightmare. The undo command was a severe limitation that prevented most people from using it. I’m happy I got to take part in creating a solution. And the designers who gave the feature a try realize it’s an awesomely powerful tool. Not just for undoing. You can also undo previously cropped images, or redo past actions, or go full tilt with a spiral undo. Again, I am learning key feature design decisions in my job.
The evolutions of the application can be seen in a very different way. Very often, it happens that a new Photoshop version adds a major feature that surely changes the workflow. However, it’s also true that a lot of these new features are included to help the workflow in one way or another. With the new features in Photoshop CS6, a designer can transform a straight jpeg image into a sketch that contains a level of detail that would have been impossible just a couple of years before. Yet, minor features, such as adjustments of the window size and the features that make it more productive, are a key part of the future of Photoshop.
